I won't come to Facebook, but it's only me.
I am confused with the cities. Of course, different people will name different cities. Do we have the resources to make this happen in several cities? Where would the impact be higher? Maybe we should decide that first before going on?
What are the...
Hä, a wrong Unrest?! WTF? I get it after reading the other thread. Incredible.
I am happy to support any city, where possible. If realistic I can help with Tübingen, too. But who'll be there all the time? I can't :( only for a short time.
And thanks for providing a list, the, @Joh!
That's maybe a slight change in strategy...they begin with seemingly good sounding content, and you feel like "Oh good, someone understands, at last", while newcomers feel impressed by the scientific sound of it - only to transport the "good message" afterwards which will sink into you so that...
Thanks @Miri, great list, and very helpful for me!
Depending on the place I could be present, but not for too long and I need the possibility to sit at least.
What do you think about leaflets or cards? I could ask my brother-in-law if he would be willing to make the design (he makes that for a living). But the cost has to be considered for the printing.
May I ask for a summary what we have so far?
Have we agreed on place(s)?
After that, we could address the points @mari_gold raise.
I have never organized something like that, but I understood @Joh could give a hand with that (i.e. what to do etc.). As @Lenny says rightly, local newspapers...
I agree with @Joh.
Still, one aspect should be considered: the medicine in Tübingen is very conservative; it's a stronghold of Psychiatry and Psychology.
Surely, Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin or Düsseldorf are much more modern. Stuttgart isn't very open-minded in my experience. But the Königstraße...
I can't take that too much of that, too. I think complaining and being sad is important, and a community is there to listen and emphathise, but so is taking action, doing the best for oneself, being a little happy and laugh.
I see :( What about new posters then? We would need a rack or something though...
Ehm, is it now decided to make MillionsMissing in Tübingen?! What about doing smaller events in several cities? Not so good? I'm fine with any place, I'll try to help where possible.
I think that's a good idea...
I have posted this thread in the German Subforum. I will open an extra thread for it so that it is seen.
I have sent my own story to Carol Monaghan.
Besides that, I fear I don't have a good network. @Joh? You seem to be better connected.
@Nina @YaS @Philipp @Miri @mari_gold
Edit: @MSEsperanza
Yes. Go to the top of the site and click "Inbox". Or click on the name of a member and choose "start a conversation".
I am fine with creating a new presentation or a leaflet; the idea is just to use what we already have.
And I agree - we'll somehow find a solution with the shoes. My question...
Would you be willing to share that for the case if I choose to try to meet local politicians?
@Joh, you're right about the fact that all the stuff is in Hamburg. It's not problem to get posters here via post. It's about the shoes...How many shoes do they have again?
