Sorry for the long delaying in replaying to this. I’m not even 100% sure how to describe it and there doesn’t seem to be a pattern I can pick up on.
Straight up leg pain is easier to deal with.
A good sharp knife can’t be underestimated. A thin blade that’s kept sharp makes everything much easier. Kiwi make some excellent cheap, thin bladed knives. https://www.chopchopchop.co.uk/172P.html Sharpening is a huge topic but a leather strop keeps a nice edge with minimal effort
Im getting a very weird and frustrating symptom over the last year and I wondered if anyone else had anything similar. I don’t know if it’s muscular or nervous system related.
I get periods of days or weeks where my right leg spasms at night when I’m trying to sleep but not at any other time...
If there was evidence that GET and CBT worked I’d be first in line to get it. I have separate mental health issues, there’s no stigma for me. I’ve done CBT and other therapies for that.
The idea that we are just turning down help because it doesn’t fit our worldview is so insulting. People have...
I’m actually surprised infections happen so often in labs. I always imagined the precautions would be so good that it’s a super rare thing. Clearly my assumptions were wrong!
They are really incredible at blocking noises such as snoring or other annoying sounds but they obviously play white noise to do that so it could be an issue if they are for noise sensitivity. They are very comfy though and they don’t irritate my ears as they don’t go into the ear canal. One of...
I’m a side sleeper and I used to use the flare isolate minis before I got Bose sleep buds. They were comfy for me and they do some specifically for sleeping now. They are the best earplugs I’d ever used and I tried a lot.
Same here, I was in a really bad downward spiral with my OCD, I’m not sure if I’d be alive anymore without exposure and response therapy. It’s horribly difficult but it was very effective for me.
We have a Dyson V10 which has been excellent. The Miele triflex might be more interesting for you though as you can put the body of the machine lower down which might make it feel lighter. Only some of the Miele machines have HEPA filters though so check carefully.
Might be worth subscribing to...
It will be interesting to see if other countries approve it. Could be a case of a government that’s more concerned about wanting to be seen to be doing something than doing the best thing.
I’m never sure if my alcohol intolerance is from the SSRIs that I was taking from before I started to try to drink or the ME/CFS. I was able to tolerate a relatively small amount and then I was nauseas and physically sick. Now I’m on more medication I can’t drink anything without feeling worse...
Statins always seem a huge target in the media here, theres often stories about something terrible to do with them. I was never quite sure why they became so hated in the press.
The sage fast slow pro is meant to be really good if that one comes up in a sale. We have an old instant pot with a broken lid that only works as a slow cooker now, some day it’ll get replaced.
