Wondered if anyone has come across Rachel Jessey? We were recommended her from a Long Covid clinic but on looking her up it looks a bit suss - there's stuff about quantum biology and circadian rhythms, but really there's nothing to access for free essentially. It's all sign up for master practitioner courses or one to one sessions to know more. It just looks like classic wellness grift.

TBH pretty disappointed that this is what we got recommended. Especially the circadian light exposure when light sensitive.

But she seems to be everywhere in the private long covid clinic sphere - Ben Findlay, Binita Kane, Abi Lulsegged and Tina Peers all partner with her.

It looks like as there isn't much to offer clinics start going down the holistic root and start dabbling with the wellness industry and all it's crap.

Never heard of her but looks like pseudoscience.

    Their disclaimer is interesting

I was able to download the two PDFs. This gives a flavour of the content:

These documents are full of obvious pseudoscience. Just as one example: "structured water" is a well-known scam produced by people who don't understand very fundamental scientific concepts.

I'm unpleasantly surprised that this kind of thing still isn't being regulated out of existence, and I'm frankly shocked that, as quackish as some of the private physicians involved with LC are, that any of them would endorse this.

I wonder how Johnjoe thinks that «nature» «discovered» anything..

Thanks! Id never heard of structured water - the 4th stage of water is quite a claim!

Some of her advice seems pretty sensible - eat well, get light etc - but when one has severe Long Covid getting morning sunlight and walking around barefoot isn't going to help and is going to make one worse.

It just seems basic good lifestyle advice plus some structured water - but it's not treatment. I don't see how this is going to make people with Long Covid better. It's just going to lighten pockets

Blimey the McFadden quote is so bad it's funny @Utsikt - a real no shit Sherlock moment

That's usually the entire point from start to finish.

It's nothing to do with helping people, it's seeing them as a business opportunity.
