    Pretty sure I suggested the same on PR when the special edition came out.

    Edit: I just double-checked, and actually all I suggested was sending Alem a complementary copy of the special edition. Dedicating it to him is a much better idea.

    Mainstream media should be made aware of this human cost : charities should highlight this too

    So grateful to Matthees for all his work.

    After an earlier request for information was unfairly classed as 'vexatious' he wrote a response which I thought was really good here: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/timing_of_changes_to_pace_trial#comment-59096

    I don't think he can get enough credit for what he's done, but at the same time, it would be worth checking with him and his family before doing more to highlight his work, just in case doing so might be a distraction from what they want to do.

    What he really deserves (like the rest of us) is to get well. Given that that isn't possible right now, a medal might be good.
