This is an old-ish study, bit has some interesting ideas about neurological conditions. Though it doesn't mention ME directly, three of the references used to support the argument deal with 'CFS'. The theory goes that interrupted VNs would cause fatigue, cognitive problems and OI due to hypoperfusion. That maps well with ME, of course, but I've never really heard of vasoactive neuropeptides before, so I have no idea where this model fits!?
