That's correct. He is now leading the Arthritis National Research Foundation - ANRF - and is representing this organisation as a speaker at the conference.

That's interesting - I know he hoped to take his interest in ME with him so it will be interesting to see whether they're doing anything.

The programme of both conferences includes two lectures in English. I emailed RME to ask if they will be livestreamed or videotaped. I got this answer today:

    "Dear Elisabeth,

I'm so happy that you have observed the information about our conferences. Yes, the conference will be live-streamed and also recorded for later access on our web-site www.rme.nu. Information about the link to the live-stream can be found on our web-site before the conference. [my bold]

    Best wishes,

    Kerstin Heiling

    Chair of RME"

I wrote them that I learned about their conferences here on S4ME. Does anyone know if they are active here? Shall we invite them?

    Edit: bolding

Oh, that's great that they will be streaming! Thanks for checking it out, @Lisa108 Am so excited to the prospect of being able to attend the conferences from home :woot:

There are a few Swedes here, but I don't know if the organisation as such is present at the forum. Sounds like a good idea to send an invite :)

This is next week already! Looking forward to following the live stream from bed. It's starting to become a full time task keeping up with all these conferences :inlove:

The PwME version of full time, anyway :woot:

It says on their website that the seminars can be viewed via a link, and that more information will come during October.
Konferenserna kommer att kunna följas via länk – mera information om detta i oktober.

Prof. Jonas Bergquist speaking (in Swedish). Seems to be the same lecture he gave at the Stanford-symposium.

"Highlighting what criteria are being used. Canadian criteria ICC and SEID demand PEM (Post-Exertional Malaise) which the Oxford criteria don't do and therefore capture much more [people] and therefore give completely different results.
