These appear to be special showings at the British Film Institute in London.

Please spread the word to medics & scientists who might want to go! :)

We wrote to all the local surgeries and hospitals offering a couple of free tickets each to our screening. Not one taker. So disappointing and frustrating. If I ever find one who is interested, I'll tell them all about it.

What a shame - that was a great idea, Graham.

I take it back. That was two weeks ago, and the deadline for free tickets passed. We have now sold all 100 tickets, and Lisa has just had a phone call from a lady asking for 4 tickets, including for a local GP interested in ME. Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!

Perhaps you could buy that GP a copy of the DVD when it comes out next month!

Actually, that might not be a bad idea - they might pass it around the practice! :)

In the event, a number of people weren't able to make it, so we were able to allocate tickets to the (retired) GP, but he is on a local panel looking at benefits in some overview way, and in the Q&A afterwards thought that, at last, the benefits folk were beginning to get a handle on the situation. (He already was on our side, and had a friend with ME).
