So a load of quacks together then? I note that Dr John McLaren-Howard is co-founder of Biolab with Dr Stephen Davies in 1984, and Laboratory Director until 2007. And obviously he's also medical director of Acumen Labs, which is where Myhill gets her mitochondrial 'testing' done.
Hard to tell. Some of them seem to be scientists researching mitochondria, like this one: University of Helsinki, Prof. Eija Pirinen: https://www.helsinki.fi/en/researchgroups/mitochondria-and-nutrient-signaling
Yeah, I will admit that I've not investigated the work of anybody there at all, so it could be that it's a mixed bag.
I can't speak to the quality of the line up in this event but I have had some experience with Biolab. Admittedly it was almost 20 years ago. Two of the people I saw sent tests to Biolab. Both of them routinely sent test samples through to any labs they used. So they might send two samples for me (though I was charged once), but the second sample would be listed as a different patient. Or they would send in a couple of samples of their own with made up names to check for false positives. Both of them seemed happy enough with the quality of Biolab's work even with ongoing checks.
