I've written to his lab at the University of Alabama asking for results of his cytokine levels in fibromyalgia summer 2017 study. Haven't yet heard back from them. Maybe it's too soon.

Younger is very adept at communications (YouTube broadcasts) to the patient community. I guess what I am getting immune to this hyper.

Here's what bothers me: first of all, his educational background is purely psychology, undergraduate degree and graduate degrees with a fellowship in psychoneurology or something like that.

Second: he does a huge number of studies, the results of the most interesting studies haven't been published (I assume the outcome was negative) such as the brain temperature elevation study for CFS/ME or the fibro cytokine levels, although maybe it take a long time to get the publication peer-reviewed for pubmed, I don't know. Every few months he is doing a new study, it seems.

He has also tested a huge battery of herbs for gulf war veterans, to see if anything clicked. For me that's a shot gun approach and i haven't seen the results of the study back a few years.

Anyone have any opinions/suggestions? I am going to ask the lab about the results of all the studies (maybe Jared Younger could YouTube these as well).

I don't know the details of Younger's work so can't comment on that, but I would say that 6 months is not very long to get results published. Personally, I'd wait 18 months before even enquiring about them.

I liked the brain temperature elevation theory but I am not sure if he actually did the study or not.
