NICE looking for lay member for persistant pain guideline committee - closing date 22nd November

    Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 22 November 2017

    Time commitment: 2 years

    We are looking for:
    people with an understanding of persistent pain and the issues important to patients and their unpaid carers. This understanding could have been gained:

    • through personal experience you have of treatment and care provided for you by the NHS
    • as a relative or unpaid carer of someone who has used relevant health services
    • as a volunteer or employee of a relevant voluntary organisation or support group.

    PS: Apparently people get paid £150 a day, but have to be able to attend meetings in London (less than one a month).
