Dr. Whittaker has many years experience in the biotech industry, clinical development, medical affairs, strategy, advocacy, policy, and communication. She received her PhD in molecular biology at University of Birmingham, UK, and her BSc in Biochemistry from University of Leeds, UK and is a member of the Global Alliance for Patient Access.

Dr. Whittaker will immediately step-in to manage SMCI’s research programs -- including the Ramsay grants, our PEER registry, among others. She will serve as SMCI’s liaison with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Collaborative Research Centers (CRCs) and Data Management Coordination Center (DMCC) and will help shape the NIH’s spring 2019 conference. She will be joining SMCI President Carol Head in London at the Invest in ME Research Colloquium in early June.

We look forward to further introducing you to Dr. Whittaker in the coming weeks

Hopefully not, the Colloquium is 30th and 31st May, and the Conference is 1st June. :)

If they are going to be at the conference I'll keep an eye out in the hope of being able to say hi.
