As we didn't have a thread for Mike's efforts, thought I'd start one.

Thanks Andy. And of course, thanks to Mike too. It's really been a marathon of marathons, and it's really impressive to see how this campaign has also been used to successfully generate decent media coverage too. Great work!

For the German speaking folks here (I know at least 2 :)), I wrote a tiny article about Mike that was published yesterday in the monthly ME/CFS update of The German Association: https://www.mecfs.de/mecfs-update-112017/

Edit: I also used a quote from Anil's article that I liked: "Mike Harley is running for our lives".

@Joh , it would be great if you could create a thread for the monthly update, assuming there isn't one already.

Just a quick one to say thanks for supporting me this year everyone.

I hope you were able to have pleasant pain-free Christmasses and hope that 2018 is a better year.

Looking forward to making more friends next year and hopefully adding to the £9.6K we have for Invest In ME's biomedical research projects.

Do take care of yourself. Don't run if you are not up to it. We all know what happens when you push yourself more than you should. ;)

I know that you're already happily married, otherwise I'd propose now! :) Thanks for all your advocacy work!
