Can you Rebuild my Brain? Interesting prog on C4
This was very interesting but also a bit scary!
"Lotje Sodderland's brain was damaged by a stroke when she was 34. She meets neuroscience pioneers who are developing cutting-edge treatments for conditions like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and autism."

I watched it last night. It was interesting, however I was not so convinced with MIT guys, they could make people recover memories?

Frozen from dusk til dawn - mysterious illness documentary
    Interesting documentary on channel 5:
During the day, Abdul Rasheed and Shoaib Ahmed, 9 and 13, are like any other brothers who laugh and play together.

But as soon as the sun goes down they collapse into a vegetative state - completely paralysed and unable to talk.

The brothers, who live in Pakistan, have been dubbed 'the solar kids' as their parents claim they get their energy from the sun.

The case has baffled doctors who have no idea what is causing their symptoms.

Yes it was interesting. I had particular empathy when tests were normal and the family were being accused of making it up... strangely familiar territory.
The dopamine connection was interesting too - it seems to pop up in many mechanisms

Is Your Brain Male or Female?
    BBC Horizon from 2014/15.
    Watched this on BBC4.
Largely nurture/nature investigation but some interesting controversial differences in physical brain functioning.
    available to watch on iplayer
