Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and ME

    I would be very interested to hear about any experiences anyone has had with HRT. Good or bad.

    Tried it for a month. Made me feel truly awful so I gave up. But then the pill had done the same, and I couldn't take that for long either, even when otherwise healthy so I'm not a standard case. The HRT was over 20 years ago and came in the form of patches. It may be more refined now.

    It' s an interesting query given the association with significant hormonal changes at adolescence and pregnancy.
    I can' t help but think that there will be some effect, and given the idiosyncrasies of this illness there will probably be good and bad responses.
