It would be great if we could have a XenForo calendar  for people to bung events onto, but meantime, what's coming up?

    I'm aware of:

Nov 1 2017 & onwards: Theatrical and community screenings of Unrest (list here).

2018: Publication of the Fluge/Mella rituximab trial

31-31 May, 2018: Invest in ME Research's 8th international biomedical research colloquium (researchers only) in London

1 June, 2018: Invest in ME Research's 13th international biomedical conference (which patients can attend) in London

I'm afraid I don't have the energy to update this post with what people post below but I hope it will serve to start people off.

No doubt each event will deserve its own thread nearer the time but meanwhile, it's good to know what we have to look forward to. :)

Don’t think I should be online right now I read ‘now and onwards’ as a type of event

Is there no Invest in ME conference this year or am I also confused about which year we’re in?

The Cochrane review of exercise therapy co-authored by White has been due for ages. That's the number one thing likely to set us back imo.

Good point, actually! I've edited that. :)

There was one back in June - it's 2017 now. :)

    You mean like this? https://www.s4me.info/index.php?calendar/

ETA: I haven't tried to use it yet, so not sure how functional it is. You should be able to see it as one of the options near the top of the screen - between Watched Threads and New Posts and Threads.

OK, to try to be a bit more helpful I've created a thread and calendar entry for the IiME conference.

First, create your thread as normal.

Second, while in your thread, go to Thread Tools. You should see many of these options (I'm an admin so will have some you won't see).

    Obviously select Calendar Add.

Third, select the correct date on this screen.

Then click submit. It now appears in the calendar as well.

    Any issues/problems let me know.

Thanks, @Andy. Would it be a good idea to start a new thread, giving that info you just posted? The calendar is a bit counter-intuitive (if you go to it and click 'submit', nothing happens.

Yep, I'll do a How-To thread. The submit button is for selecting the month you want to see - choose month, choose year, click submit to view it - but I agree that isn't as clear as it could be.

Did anyone get a list of upcoming ME conferences going on around the world? It would be great to have this to promote health officials, funders, researchers and clinicians to attend.
